More scary than neat- all this smart home/appliance stuff are nothing but feeders for the NSA.

    Kudos for the innovation.

    > 11:05AM EST - To avoid an excess of snarky comments I'm going to focus on mostly taking photos here

    At least he tried!

To be honest, I found the snark enjoyable.

I need a robot vacuum with DeepThinQ AI now, I think. And a One With The Wall™ TV thingie with SuperUHD.

    Great comments josh.
More live blogs should include such snark.

The fridge stuff was the best. Took what I was thinking and made it readable.

Tech journalism needs more of this. Perhaps slightly more "critical journalism" than "snarky journalism", but I'll take the latter over "blind PR-regurgitation" (which is sadly the dominant form in many outlets) any day of the week.

"There's really no other way to look inside a fridge"
    I lol'd.

I think we all need a fridge with DeepThinQ AI to control what we're allowed to put in the fridge. It can work with the robot vaccuum to push our dessicated corpses to the back yard where the AI-controlled lawnmower can mulch the evidence of our demise.

Terminators will not destroy the human race, our fridge, TV, robo-vaccuum, and lawnmower will just team up and kill us 1000 calories at a time.
