Cooling

While there is certainly a ton of cooling in the LAN-0334, it's not as efficiently designed as some other cases we've tested. That 4.75" side panel is certainly the largest we've seen to date, but it's simply not incredibly effective.

Expansion

Four 5.25" external bays, two 3.5" external bay, and three 3.5" internal bays is quite a bit for a case this size.

Quality

Our biggest disappointments with the LAN-0334 come under this category. In general, the edges of the sheet metal were not well rounded and were easily sharp enough to cut your fingers with ease.

But by far our biggest quality issue is with the power supply. The Sunny Technologies ATX-250 that came with our evaluation sample was quite possibly the worst power supply to find its way into the AnandTech lab. In fact, it's the only power supply we've tested that would cause our case testing test bed to crash on a regular basis.

Features

Cooling is the big draw of the LAN-0334, but other features include a removable motherboard tray, included zip ties, and a carrying handle. We'd still like to see a screwless design.

Price

At around $100 USD ($139.99 Canadian as listed on AMK's site), the LAN-0334 is a bit pricey for what you get. The fans may be worth it, but the build quality definitely is not.

Availability

Currently, all AMK cases are only available directly from their website. While this limits the vendors you can go through to just one, AMK should have no trouble supplying the cases at the current demand level. Because they are in Canada, that could complicate things with customs and international shipping involved with every order outside Canada.
